MONSTER DRAGS
  WORLD FINALS 3!!!!

It's that time once again, 8 of the best monster trucks in the world are here, and are ready for the ultimate fight to the finish. Welcome all to Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada for Monster Drags WORLD FINALS 3!!!!!. These trucks put on an incredible show here last year. This racing course is the longest around, a big j-hook vegas style course, the trucks will go their fastest all season on this track. Freestyle has some of the biggest freestyle obstacles ever, but we will get into that later, now, it's time for racing and the championship is on the line. Mike Alston and Team Meents is only 1 point behind Dan DeFalco for the championship points lead, if Mike were to finish ahead of Dan, he would earn enough points to take the points lead, and the racing championship. Dan needs to keep mike behind him. Along with Grave Digger and Team Meents here is Black Stallion(kyle defalco), Blue Thunder(grave diggerxx), Destroyer(matt francisco), Black Smith(xfa cart), Bulldozer(xfa_digger), and Spiderman(Robby haught).

                                        RACING
The first round of the night was Mike Alston's Team Meents, against RobbyH14 and Spiderman. Team Meents got off to a great start, Spiderman did not get off the line right away, no contest as Meents flys across the line and moves on to round 2.
Next up was Dan DeFalco and Grave Digger against XFA_Digger and Bulldozer. Dan proved he was strong tonight, and had a great run to knock out Bulldozer. Dan is working hard for this after getting upset in the first round here last year.
The 3rd race of the first round is Black Smith vs. Destroyer. Matt Francisco has been a strong racer all year long, and proved that he is still strong by taking out a hard charging XFA Cart and Blacksmith.
The final race of the first round would be the best matchup of the first round. Grave DiggerXX in Blue Thunder, up against Kyle DeFalco and Black Stallion. Kyle has had a specatular rookie year and was expected to good here tonight. But Blue Thunder led him down the thunder alley straightaway, and it was all over when Black Stallion knocks a turning pole, and Blue Thunder had the win straight up anyway, and BlueThunder would move on.

                                        semi finals!!!!

It's now time for the semi final round, the final 4 monster trucks will do battle to get into the final. The first semi final matchup would be the most important race of the year, Grave Digger vs. Team Meents, this would decide the championship. Dan was thrown into the left lane, which he did not like running.  Digger got out of the whole a bit earlier than meents did and it was dead even down thunder alley. But then in the turn digger swings it way wide!! Meents takes the lead and holds on for the win!!, Mike Alston is gonna knock off Digger and he will be the 2002 Monster Drags racing points champion!!!!.
However this night was not done, the other semi final run generated some excitement of it's own. Blue Thunder would take on Destroyer. It was a close race, Blue Thunder pulled out the win, but at the end is where Matt Francisco realized he was behind and put the pedal to the floor. Destroyer flys across the line crooked, lands crooked, and rolls over!!!. Matt was ok, and the truck was unhurt and would return for freestyle.

                                  FINALS!!!!!!

This is the final round, Team Meents against Blue Thunder, Mike Alston already has the championship, but he wants the win. Grave DiggerXX in Blue Thunder has worked hard all year, and he would like nothing more to get his first win at the World Finals. The fans were on their feet as the trucks leave the line, in thunder alley now, OH MY!!!, Team Meents knocks into a freestyle obstacle and is stopped!!, Blue Thunder keeps on charging and will cross the line and win the world finals!!!!!.
                                     FREESTYLE
This night is far from done, one championship is given out, and one is still here. That is the freestyle world championship, which Dan DeFalco has clinched, but it will still be the most awesome night in freestyle. Tonights freestyle course was the biggest ever, including two huge bus setups, a semi trailer, rail car, a huge mobile home setup, and a huge dirt double that has a van setup on it, so when the truck's hit it, they will fly over the van.....
First truck up for freestyle is RobbyH14 and Spiderman. He had a good opening run, getting some air and some nice jumps. He went for the big double but could not clear the bus setup, still a strong run and he scored a 21.
Matt Francisco and Destroyer was up next, and he raised the bar on this run. The truck was still at 100% after the rollover in racing. Matt started out with a wheelie, kept good moementum, and sucessfully flew over the double and cleared the van setup!!. Nice run, he scored a 25.
Now up is XFA Cart in the Team Grave Digger Blacksmith. Cart was off to a great start by launching the 1941 willys pickup straight up and down. then took on the busses nicely, but then went after another stack and got crooked and flipped over, ending the run early. Blacksmith scored a 9.
Next up was Grave DiggerXX in Blue Thunder. Blue Thunder really got the crowd on their feet when during his run he launched over the big mobile home jump, got great air, landed on the semi trailer jump and flipped over. Blue Thunder scored a 16, the run was cut short.
next up was XFA_Digger in the new wf3 Bulldozer, Dig had a strong run, got some big air over the jumps and kept good moementum. He scored a 24.
Now most of you know that this year is Mike Vater's 20th anniversary in the real black stallion. So for freestyle, Kyle DeFalco had a special run planned out in tribue to vaters' 20th season. He brought out Black Stallion with the 20th anniversay body on it, and for one of his special freestyle moves, he had the old 1980's Black Stallion driven out behind the mobile home jump and jumped it backwards!!!!!!. Kyle then went on to a great run, got some nice air over everything, and scored a 25 to tie for the lead.
Next up was 2002 Monster Drags racing champion Mike Alston and Team Meents. The crowd was expecting an awesome run, Mike comes out and hits the two crush cars, then goes to hit the van and crush cars, gets great air, bull rolls over!!!. The run was extremely short, Mike scored a 10.
The final freestyle truck of the night was Dan DeFalco in Grave Digger 14. Dan already had enough points to get his 2nd straight freestyle championship, but he wanted to end the season in a big way, by busting into a wild freestyle. Grave Digger was launched over every jump, catching big time air. Dan went all out to wreck the digger, but end up still on all fours by the end of the run. Dan scored a 25, which would make it a 3-way tie for the freestyle win between Grave Digger, Black Stallion, and Destroyer.
