CTAMPA BAY MONSTER JAM RACE #2--- for the next stop on the Monster Drags tour, we go to Tampa Florida for the IMJRA Monster Drags Tampa Bay Monster Jam!!. Here we have have three familiar faces along with a new face, Lindsay Kelly makes her Monster Drags debut driving Bigfoot. The drivers here are, Cory Schwab driving T-Wrecks, Dan DeFalco driving Grave Digger, and C.J. Bar drving Wrechead.com.The big story is that a early points lead battle has errupted between Grave Digger and T-Wrecks, Dan was testing all day before the race and even teseted out his backup truck Grave Digger 7 just incase #14 had a problem. first qualifying was held to see who raced who. here are the times..... T-Wrecks (8.90) Grave Digger (9.02) Wrechead.com (9.40) Bigfoot (10.09). Actullay Lindsay qualified her backup truck Nitemare but the truck broke and she decided to go with Bigfoot. And the Big story here is Cory Shcwab and T-Wrecks being the fastest qualifier 2 races straight. Now here comes the first race, Its the current points leader T-Wrecks vs. Lindsay kelley and Bigfoot. The 2 trucks staged and on comes the green light. Cory has the lead the whold time and lindsay has problems over the jump and T-Wrecks wins!!!. Now hers comes the second race. Dan DeFalco in Grave Digger vs. C.J. Bar in Wrechead.com. These two raced each other at IPMS and they know how each other drive. On comes the green light and off they go. Close race both trucks, dead even as they hit the turn. and here somes the finish. And Its Dan DeFalco winning by anose and almosts flips but makes a great save. Now here comes the final, a repeat of the last race, the early battle for the racing points lead. Cory Schwab in T-Wrecks vs. Dan DeFalco and Grave Digger. Cory had lane choice, both drivers happy about which lane there in, Cory would be making a right hand turn and Dan Would make a left hand turn. Here`s the green light and there they go. Just like the IPMS race, Cory and T-Wrecks had the lead over Dan and Grave Digger and Cory would get his second win and keeps his points lead. |
FREESTYLE--- The trucks had a could freestyle course tonight with crush cars, a mud pit, vans, a school bus and a set of dirt doulbes. first was Lindsay Kelley. She starts out with some nice air and has a strong run going. And OH!! she hits the vans sideways, nice touch there tries it in reverse gets up on the tailgate and flips over. Nice run by Lindsay and Bigfoot and she gets a 22. Next was Cory and T-Wrecks, remember he did not freestyle last week so this is his first freestyle. Starts off with a nice wheelie hittin` the vans sideways and cathing some good air and has a strong run. He gets a 21 and his not happy with that. Then Wrechead got a 16 and Grave Digger with another dissapoining freestyle with a 5. So Lindsay wins freestyle on her first day out. congratulations to lindsay and we`ll be at the superdome monster jam next week. |
