As the season comes to an end, the monster drags tour makes one more stop before the world finals, that stop is the 2001 Superdome.The drivers here tonight are, Dan DeFalco (Grave Digger), C.J. Bar (Wrenchead.com), Flare (Bigfoot Chromalusion), Pryme Tyme (Nitro Fish), Camaro69 (USA-1), and suicidal maniac (Avenger). |
Racing For tonights racing, a lot was on the line. Flare needed a win tonight to be in contention to take Dan DeFalco`s points lead at the next race. Flare was putting down some really great runs, having fast times and smooth turns. Bigfoot was on track for a win. Another great running truck was the racing points leader Dan DeFalco and Grave Digger. He was looking good as he has been recently, and was looking to stomp out Bigfoot`s competiton. Nitro Fish, Avenger both newcomers went out early in the first round. USA-1 and Wrenchead both were defeated in the final four. That means it would come down to another Grave Digger/Bigfoot finals. Flare has now assembled team Bigfoot and wants to win it for his new team, and also so he can gain on Grave Digger`s points lead. In the end, it was a close finish, but Bigfoot managed to edge out Grave Digger and take the win. The racing and freestyle points battle will be the main story by next week`s world finals. Dan DeFalco loses in the finals, but still holds on to his points lead. If he can beat Flare next week, he would be the monster drags racing points champion. |
