BLOOMSBURG JAMBOREE

My 3rd time going to the bloomsburg jamboree was an awesome time. Im covering the 5:30 saturday show, the biggest surprise for me is when I found out that they would be running a chicago style turning course (which would be the first turning course i see live). Racing was great, Mark Hall in Raminator knocked out Godzilla, Hall sped around the track and put it to the floor for some big time air over the final jump. Then Dale Mitchell in Prowler defeated Andy Hoffman in Nitemare.  Dale Bernear in Rammunition beat jeremy ward in American Dream and Bernear got big air as well over his last jump. Summit Truck Style beat Andy Slifko's Eradicator. I was very impressed by Greg Adams, he ran extremely hard.

Round 2 would see Raminator knock out Prowler and Rammunition defeat Summit Truck Style. This made it an all dodge final, Raminator vs. Rammunition.  The two trucks got off to and even start, but Bernear in the Rammunition broke comming off the second jump giving the win to Mark Hall's Raminator. Hall later said a distributor went on Rammunition. Congratulations to the Hall brother's team on a job well done.

All the trucks who didnt race that round freestyled, ill mention the big runs. John Seasok in Sudden Impact continues to pull off specatular moves at his homestate. Seasok hit the van setup first, and pulled off a major slap wheelie. Seasok then continued the wheelie right into a big dirt hill, the left side of the truck caught and the truck was brought down fast, blowing a right rear tire. Only got one move in but it was awesome. Doug Noelke in Big Dawg had a strong run but couldnt get his world famous wheelies as high as he is capable of. Allen Pezo had a great run in Predator as well.  Id say the best freestyle of the show belonged to Dan Runte in Bigfoot (charlies angels paint), Dan Pulled off great wheelies and took on the big pyramids..

That was the end of the 5:30 show, but we decided to stick around for the 8:00 freestyle show, and WOW was it worth sticking around for. Well never before would I think I would see a refridgerator and a stove as obstacles for freestyle. But they were brought right in front of the open grandstands and American Dream totally destroyed the fridge. I have a great new respect for Andy Hoffman, who ive seen struggle before, but he let it all hang out in this freestyle tonight. The best move he did was hitting the van setup sideways, he did that twice and got great air off of it. All trucks who ran had amazing runs. the mad man Michael Vaters in Black Stallion took on the huge crush car pyramid sideways!! it was a spetacular jump during his run. Mark Hall in Raminator then came out for freestyle, with red strobe lights flashing from the hood (something i never noticed on that before) Hall came out with some speed, nailed the dirt hill and got HUGE air off it, he did some more great jumps and ended his run with fast donuts in front of the crowd. The Whole show ended with Dan Runte and Bigfoot freestyling with fireworks going off, it was an awesome thing to see.
Bloomsburg is my favorite show of the year and it keeps getting better and better, check out some pictures i got from the event.

My dad got me this cool small camera, i mean really small haha, i can hold it in my fist. It cant take motion pics really well of long distance pics but i still got some good shots, take a look.
American Dream in the pits repairing something on the left rear.
Andy Hoffman's Nitemare in the pits. Ive seen pictures of this truck with the new 2003 chevy silverado body on it and i didnt think it looked so hot. But I walked up to it and saw it in person and it looks really awesome and Andy had a great day.
The Black Stallion of Mike Vaters...Mike was going through some transmission problems all weekend but seemed to have it back together by the 8:00 freestyle.
Mark Hall's Raminator dominated today's racing, beating teammate rammunition in the finals
Dan Runte in Bigfoot put on great freestyle runs all day
One of the masters of the slap wheelie, Doug Noelke and Big Dawg had several good wheelis for the crowd today.
Andy Slifko's Eradicator
Predator in Prowler in the pits, both these trucks had a great day
All the monsters parked out on the track before the 8:00 freestyle
