A last minute schedule change broguht the IMJRA Monster Drags back to the Brampton City Monster Jam for the second time this year. Last time we were here it was Dan DeFalco and Grave Digger grabbing the racing and freestyle win. Tonight, 8 trucks are on hand to compete, Dan DeFalco (Grave Digger), Flare (Bigfoot #14 Chromalusion), Metalicgod (equailizer), C.J. Bar, (Wrenchead.com), Griff Carnage (Bounty Hunter), Matt Prochera (Mr. Destruction), Paul Curtis (Hercules), and Camaro 69 (USA-1). Flare, normally in the bigfoot superduty truck, but for tonight, he brings out the new Bigfoot Chromalusion ride, thats Bigfoot #14. Dan DeFalco`s newly formed team Grave Digger, hires Matt Prochera, (the former driver of executioner) to drive MR. Destruction for tonight, and will finish out the season in the team Grave Digger Blacksmith truck. |
RACING |
Racing was very competitive as suspected, Grave Digger and Bigfoot (the two favorites for tonight), moved up through the brackets, winning their two firt rounds. Dan was having trouble in the turns however and wasn`t happy with the setup he chose. Griff Carnage looks strong in the Bounty Hunter dodge. C.J. Bar looking very strong as well, he`s looking for a racing win. Soon enough, the final four trucks were set to decide tonights winner. Tonights final four trucks are, Grave Digger, Bigfoot, Bounty Hunter, and Wrenchead. Bounty Hunter and Bigfoot would face off to see who would get to the finals. Both trucks were fast off the line, but Bigfoot has a problem in the turn! Bounty Hunter, Griff Carnage pulls off the upset win!!! Then Grave Digger would face Wrenchead.com. C.J. has been having some nice runs, Dan has been having bad luck in the turn. Dan`s bad setup would be his downfall as C.J. Bar and Wrenchead.com would pull off upset win number two. The finals was Buonty Hunter and Wrenchead. It was close, but Griff Carnage would make it to the finish first, getting his first win!!!!! |
Freestyle was great, C.J. Bar had an awesome run and really kept up the moementum throufhout his run. His great run would give him a 27. Grave Digger had an awesome run, the winner from the first Brampton freestyle, Dan tries to make it 3 in a row, Dan had some nice moves, but didnt have enough for Wrenchead and couldnt beat him. Bigfoot, Mr. Destruction, Hercules, Bounty Hunter all had nice runs. but Wrenchead would get the win. adding onto his freestyle points lead. |
