Tonight we kick off the first IMJRA race of the 2004 season. The small tight Brampton arena plays host to the season opening winter jam race. Last year saw tons of great side by side action and we're in for another great night, One jump side by side drag, an acceleration race. And We have some of the best trucks here. |
We have many new debuts here at brampton but the two biggest debuts were Maximum Destruction and Grave Digger. After 3 full years and earning four IMJRA titles with Grave Digger #14, Dan DeFalco debuts the brand new Grave Digger 19 that will be his brand new full time ride that we will see weekkly on the IMJRA circut. Monster Drags and 4 Wheel Truck fest champ Mike Alston makes his return after a long break. Mike and his meents team returns with the a brand new body and new name, the same futuristic suv is now known as Maximum Destruction. The meents team also has 4 wheel truck fest champ robby haught in Hot Wheels, also eric theile in the new monster mutt and more..Lets get down to the action!!!!!! |
Eric Theile lays down one of the fastest qualifying times in Monster Mutt, despite the small area racing was extremely close and exciting. The fans were treated to a wild first round race between Grave Digger and Maximum Destruction. |
Dan and Mike had a great run but it was Maximum Destruction taking the win, Grave Digger however would return in the fast loser round. |
Jason Lloyd was behind the wheel of Monster Patrol and had plenty of crowd stunning moements but went out of racing early. As brackets continued on, Dustin Hart in Pure Adrenalin took out Grave Digger, and next came the one of the biggest runs of the night. Also making a return is Max, and he is behind the wheel of the brand new Gun Slinger ford. Max lined up against Mike Alston in Maximum Destruction and Gun Slinger got the win. Also Robby Haught was having a huge night so far in Hot Wheels and was to meet Gun Slinger in the racing finals....... |
These two big powerful fords have been dominating the whole night but only one can be the winner...Max in Gun Slinger vs. Robby in Hot Wheels. They staged and were off, the fastest run of the night and your winner is...Robby Haught and Hot Wheels!!!!!!!. Robby shows great stregth so far and he gets the early points lead, congrats to Robby and the Meents Racing team. |

Dan DeFalco made his freestyle debut in Grave Digger 19 and had a good run going until he did a wild sky wheelie and landed which bounced him up on the front end and over It's been an awesome night here at Brampton City, see you all next week in Houston Texas at the Reliant Astrodome.. |
