It's the biggest baddest series in all of MTM2 Monster truck racing and it's back for another awesome season, the 2003 IMJRA MONSTER DRAGS returns with an opening race here at the superdome. The Superdome has always been a great spot for Monster Truck racing and tonight was no exception, neither Grave Digger or Black Stallion were present for tonight's opener but alot of other big dogs were, lets get down to the action. |
Eric Theile takes the corner hard in the new Python monster truck, one of two new 2004 ford f-150 bodied trucks owned by Aaron Cromer. Python here was beat by Taurus, piloted by returning driver Sam Gemmet. The racing was hard all day long. This was the normal superdome setup, both trucks running in the same direction each on an oval. |
Robby Haught's Skisto, Robbie Milburn's Terminal Velocity, and Brandonscr in Sobe joined Alex Weber in the dodge Savage in the final four. Skitso would defeat terminal velocity and Savage would beat sobe, so Skitso and Savage would face off for the first final of the year. And in the finals, it was Robby Haught in Skitso with the win tonight, after comming off a championship in the 4 Wheel truck fest nationals, Haught has been the man to beat, congratulations to robby on tonight's win. |
